Will Matthews Will Matthews is a financial professional with 20 years of investing experience in the credit and equity markets and real estate. Since 2009, Will has been actively investing in the self storage sector in Canada and the US. From 2003 through 2009, he was a credit investor and portfolio manager with Liberty Harbour, a Goldman Sachs hedge fund, and Amaranth Advisors in both New York and Singapore.
Prior to that, Will was an active private equity investor focused on small and mid-market companies in the US and Canada with BMO Nesbitt Burns Equity Partners and Polar Equity Capital. Prior thereto, Mr. Matthews spent seven years in investment banking in debt and equity capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions and restructurings for Goldman Sachs (1999-2002), Nesbitt Burns (1995-1996) and UBS (1989-1992).
Will has an M.B.A. from the University of Western Ontario and undergraduate degree in International Business and Finance from New York University.
