David Stewart David is a qualified English solicitor (admitted 1989), and a practicing Turks and Caicos attorney (admitted 1990) . David has been an equity partner for over 20 years at two large London law firms, and he was CEO and Managing Partner of a top 30 UK firm for 9 years until he returned to the Turks and Caicos in 2015.
Now David is MD of Coriats Trust Company, a 44 year old veteran of the Turks and Caicos trust industry. Coriats looks after a number of UHNW families and their corporate and personal investments , and has over US$900M of assets under admisntration and management.
David is also a partner at leading local law firm Griffiths and Partners, and he sits on the Islands’ Trust and Company law committees . David also serves at the Premier’s request as chair of a working group advising Government on how to grow the financial services sector in the Islands.
David is regularly in London , New York, Geneva and Zurich for work , and is well connected in the international wealth management industry. David is Band 1 ranked as an individual (as is Coriats as a Trust Company) by the prestigious international directory, Chambers.
David is married, with 4 children , and he is a keen scuba diver.
